Job SummaryThe Bilingual Field Marketing Representative with The Restaurant Store is responsible for communicating the advantages of shopping with TRS in a clean and concise manner across the greater Reading, PA market. The Field Marketing Representative will achieve a variety of operational goals through effective field marketing and advertising strategies that align with the goals of our sales and marketing teams. The employee for this position will work in and around the Reading, PA areas. Applicants for this position must possess strong English and Spanish speaking skills.ResponsibilitiesTravel to and call on businesses in the local Reading areas to increase sales with existing customers and develop new relationships with prospective customersOccasional travel to other PA marketsDevelop and maintain knowledge of products offered in-store and the gross profit associated with private label productsCommunicate with Sales team to ensure follow-through on leads generated Field Marketing teamCommunicate pertinent information to TRS Marketing and Sales Departments through established reporting methodsPlan, organize, and execute specific sales and marketing programs under the direction of the Field Marketing ManagerResearch and communicate competitor information to sales and inventory teams within the local branch by providing relevant competitor invoices and identify current vendors of prospective customersAbility to navigate TRS.com quickly and effectively to assist customers with establishing online accounts and quick pick listsAbility to use Office 365 and iOS programsPhysical RequirementsWork is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 9 hours/day.Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.ExperienceMust possess reliable transportation and maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving recordStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical and complex concepts in a simple and concise way to ensure ease of understandingDemonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAbility to quickly adapt as business needs change; ability to address difficult situations with diplomacy and emotional intelligenceService leadership approach with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectationsHigh school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experienceEnglish and Spanish speaking skillsEducationThis role does not require a degree.
