NOTE This position is an Instructor Operator role for UH-60M SimulatorResponsibilitiesConduct flight and simulator instruction in accordance with approved syllabi, Army regulations (AR 95-1, TC 3-04.11), and FAA/DoD guidelines.Deliver classroom and mission planning instruction in topics such as systems, emergency procedures, NVG operations, tactical flight, and mission execution.Evaluate pilot proficiency and provide performance assessments and remediation as needed.Evaluate pilot proficiency in instrument flight and be able to conduct Instrument Flight Evaluations.Maintain training records, lesson plans, and instructional materials in compliance with company and government standards.Support development and updating of standard operating procedures (SOPs), risk assessments, and safety briefings.Provide input on curriculum development and instructional improvements.Participate in flight evaluations and readiness-level (RL) progression training.QualificationsRequired EducationBachelor’s Degree and nine (9) years of experience; four (4) years of experience in lieu of degree.Required ClearanceMust possess and be able to maintain an active secret clearance (US Citizenship).Required QualificationsU.S. Army-qualified UH-60M Instructor Pilot (IP) with documented completion of an approved Instructor Pilot Course as well as Instrument Evaluators Course. Extensive flight experience, strong instructional skills, and a deep understanding of aircrew training standards as prescribed by U.S. Army Aviation doctrine.Minimum of 1,000 flight hours in rotary-wing aircraft, including at least 300 hours in the UH-60M, 100 hours as an Instructor Pilot as well as 100 NVG hours.Knowledge of current U.S. Army aviation training doctrine and procedures.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office and aviation-related digital systems.Desired QualificationsPrevious experience as a contractor or government civilian IP.Experience with aircrew training programs such as ARMS, DTMS, or TAMIS.Combat experience desired but not required. (Use of ASE and understanding combat maneuvers and operations would be beneficial). Familiar with flight operations in Europe ex. Jeppesen Charts.NVG Instructor Pilot (NVG IP) or Maintenance Test Pilot (MTP) rating.Experience operating the AVCATT, Non-Rated Crew Member Trainer (NCMRT), or other training systems.
