Company DescriptionBridge Point UG provides financial and operational services to a growing US-based SaaS company in the healthcare sector. Our Munich-based team handles financial operations for US clients in an English-speaking, remote-first environment with American company culture.Role DescriptionThis is a part-time remote role (30-32 hours/week) for a Bookkeeper/Controller based in Munich. As our first finance hire, you'll build financial operations systems from the ground up for our US client.Primary responsibilities include:Full-cycle bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online for a SaaS businessImplementing and managing expense management systems (preferred vendor is Ramp)Designing and building reconciliation processes between CRM systems (subscription management), payment processors, and accounting softwareMonth-end close and financial reportingManaging revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and SaaS metrics (MRR/ARR)Partnering with leadership on financial planning and analysisIdentifying operational needs and eventually hiring/managing a second team memberThis is a systems-building role with real autonomy. You'll design processes that work for a growing SaaS business and have direct access to leadership. All work is conducted in English.Qualifications5+ years bookkeeping and accounting experienceQuickBooks Online expertiseExperience with SaaS or subscription-based business modelsUnderstanding of revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and SaaS financial metricsSystems thinking - ability to design financial processes from scratchStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication skills and ability to work independentlyFluent English (German not required, all work conducted in English)Legal right to work in GermanyExperience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and payment processors (e.g., Stripe) is a plusUS GAAP knowledge is a plusSpecial consideration for candidates with experience building finance operations at a growing companyExperience managing or mentoring junior team members is a plus
