Company DescriptionRMHO Consulting is an accounting, tax and business advisory firm based in Dorset, serving a wide range of company and individual clients.Role DescriptionTo meet increasing demand for our services, we are looking for an experienced bookkeeper to join our friendly team. The role is remote, allowing the candidate to work from home. The role can be full or part-time to suit the successful candidate. We pride ourselves on being a flexible employer, allowing our staff to preserve a health work / life balance.The successful candidate will preferably be based in Dorset, but this is not an essential requirement.Key responsibilities include bookkeeping for our clients, preparing monthly payroll, quarterly VAT returns and other related accounting tasks. The bookkeeper will work closely within our accounting team and receive support and training.The salary is highly competitive and we provide a laptop computer and other necessary IT equipment.RequirementsProficiency in bookkeeping and maintaining accurate financial recordsKnowledge and experience with accounting softwareExperience using Xero is preferred but not essentialAttention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to meet deadlinesExcellent numerical, analytical and problem solving skillsSuperb interpersonal skills and confident dealing with clientsThe ability to work efficient outside of an office environment without supervision
