You’ll work at the intersection of brand, storytelling, and performance, translating business and campaign goals into cohesive, multi-channel creative that drives results across paid media, email, social, web, and creator campaigns.You’ll play a meaningful role in shaping how Makeship shows up in the world - not just how things look, but how stories are told, how campaigns perform, and how fans connect with our brand and the creators we partner with.We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just deliver assets, but thinks in campaigns, systems, and iterations. Someone who understands that great creative earns attention and earns fans.You’ll collaborate closely with Growth, Digital Marketing, and Creative partners, mentor designers through craft and example, and help raise the creative bar across the organization.🚀 Your Key ResponsibilitiesCampaign & Creative ExecutionTranslate business and campaign goals into cohesive, multi-channel creative systems that perform across paid, email, and social.Lead creative execution for campaigns from concept through launch, ensuring strong storytelling and consistency across channels.Design and deliver intentional creative variants (typically 2–3 per concept) to support testing, iteration, and learning.Apply a channel-aware mindset, adapting creative to the nuances of paid media, email, organic social, and creator-led content.Act as a campaign-level quality bar, ensuring work shipped is on-brand, thoughtful, and executionally excellent.Brand, Storytelling & PerformanceEnsure visual and verbal cohesion, collaborating with copy partners so art and words work together in service of the brand.Use performance insights and campaign data to inform creative decisions and continuously improve output.Balance brand-building with performance needs, creating work that both converts and builds long-term brand equity.Elevate both the Makeship brand and our creator/partner brands, ensuring each campaign strengthens both.Systems, Collaboration & MentorshipSupport the development of scalable campaign frameworks and visual systems that can be scaled and evolved over time.Create storyboards, mood boards, and visual narratives that bring campaign ideas to life.Partner closely with Growth, Digital, and Brand leadership to align creative output with acquisition, engagement, and retention goals.Occasionally lead creative reviews or workshops focused on campaign thinking, testing, and brand craft.🧠 What You Bring5+ years of experience in brand, campaign, or marketing design (in-house or agency).A portfolio that demonstrates campaign thinking, not just individual assets.Strong visual design fundamentals with excellent taste and attention to detail.Comfort working with performance data and campaign results to inform creative decisions (you care whether creative works).Experience collaborating closely with Growth, Digital Marketing, and/or Performance teams.A strong point of view on how brand and performance intersect.Comfort navigating ambiguity and evolving briefs in a fast-paced environment.Tools & SkillsAdobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)Figma (layout systems, components, handoff)Motion tools (After Effects / Premiere) are a strong assetExperience designing for paid media, lifecycle marketing, and digital performance environments👀 BonusCreator-driven, entertainment, or community-led brandsE-commerce or product storytelling experienceFamiliarity with experimentation or creative testing environmentsA passion for creating video assets💪 This Role Is a Great Fit If You…Care deeply about whether creative actually performs, not just how it looks.Enjoy iteration, testing, and revisiting work to make it better.Like shaping solutions, not waiting for perfect briefs.Want meaningful ownership and influence without people management.Believe great brands are built through consistency, clarity, and momentum over time.🎁 Benefits & PerksWork remotely anywhere in Toronto and/or access any of our hubsHealth and dental benefits from day 14 weeks of paid vacation (including paid time off on your birthday)An additional 1 week of paid time off during the winter holidaysVirtual & In-Person Social EventsAnnual Paid Volunteer Day Off1:1 RRSP Matching Program Up to 3%$500 Pre-Tax Annual Health & Wellness Allowance$400 Pre-Tax Home Office Setup Allowance$65 Pre-Tax Monthly Phone AllowanceMaternity and Parental Leave Top-Up ProgramEducation Assistance ProgramEmployee Referral ProgramTenured Rewards ProgramSalary Band: $75,000-$85,000k CAD per annum.
