Job Description

As the Brand Manager, in a very close collaboration with CHANEL Paris team, you will be responsible for adapting and executing strategies on the markets to build the CHANEL brand equity, drive sales, and create memorable experiences for our clients. Strong commercial accumen and a result oriented mindset, with hands-on sales execution, driving market share growth and maintaining customer relationship is a key aspect of this role.You will lead the brand development and lead cross-functional teams (marketing, learning, digital, sales managers) to ensure the right implementation of the brand strategy in all expertise’s and ensure success of our brand in the highly competitive luxury market. Main Missions: 1. Adapt and Implement Marketing Strategies• Adapt and execute integrated marketing plans shared by CHANEL Paris team to promoteproduct launches, seasonal campaigns, and brand initiatives.• Negotiate and implement trade plan with local retailers• Lead the local production of marketing campaigns elements according to brand guidelines,while monitoring the allocated budget• Utilize data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies and drive ROI.• Define marketing objectives and KPIs with CHANEL Paris Team in alignment with the brand'svision and business goals.• Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends andopportunities. 2. Brand equity, communication, and distribution strategy• Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity into the brick-and-mortar distributionand across all channels• Build and implement the media plan in close collaboration with Paris team• Oversee the brand's presence across digital and traditional media platforms.• Follow and reports local opportunities or new supports to communicate.• Identify and propose to CHANEL Paris opportunities for Public Relations, local influenceraccording to the objectives and guidelines shared by the brand• Identify new market opportunities including new point of sales or emerging distributionchannels, build the business case for the brand, and lead local project execution 3. Event Management and Product Launches• Plan and execute luxurious events and product launches that generate buzz and elevate thebrand's image.• Coordinate with PR and events teams to secure media coverage and celebrity/influencerpartnerships.• Develop immersive event experiences that align with the brand's values and aesthetics.• Analyze the impact of events on brand visibility and customer engagement. 4. Budget Management and Forecasting• Forecast product novelties and merchandising elements in line with marketing strategies andrecommendations shared by Paris and consistent with point of sales• Co-build with Paris APD Budget (3 times per year), then manage, follow, and respect budgetsfor marketing campaigns, events, and other promotional activities validated by Paris Team• Communicate Wholesale and Sell-Out performances monthly, perform business analysis andaction plans. Be pro-active in building & following Sell-in, Wholesale and Sell-out targets• Conduct ROI analysis and adjust spending to optimize investments effectiveness. 5. Foster partnership with retailers and lead commercial strategy• Ensure the implementation of brand initiatives, secure optimal positioning and promotion atthe point of sale by acting as the key liaison between the brand and retail partners.• Define and optimize trade terms in partnership with Paris team, and lead local commercialnegotiations• Monitor retailers’ compliance with commercial agreements and collaborate with the Paristeam to validate annual payment terms. 6. Legal and compliance• Control of the image of CHANEL in the area through annual assessments, share therelevant information’s (counterfeits, parallel market, judicial liquidation, etc.)• Establishment of authorized retailer contracts control of the quality criteria of the points ofsale in accordance with the brand guidelines Qualities and Leadership Attributes: The ideal candidate for this role should possess a unique blend of creativity, strategic thinking, andleadership skills.
