We're committed to becoming the most trusted and sustainable business in Ireland, and we're looking for dynamic, forward-thinking individuals to join us on this journey.As we continue our journey toward becoming Ireland’s most trusted and sustainable business, we have an exciting opportunity for a successful candidate to join our Brand Strategy Team as a Brand Manager.As a key member of the marketing team the purpose of the Brand Manager role is to grow the business through the execution of the business transformation agenda by developing both SuperValu and Centra with clarity, innovation, and passion.What you'll be doing: Working with the Marketing Managers and wider teams to implement brand strategy to the highest outcomes ensuring consistency and clarity of message across all elements of the brand plan. Work as a key member of the marketing team to deliver projects as set out through the transformation agenda including collaborating with cross functional teams including sales, trading CI & store development colleagues to deliver the right brand outcomes for the various business initiatives. Develop and evolve brand guidelines. Deliver the conference material for the annual brand conferences. Deliver the period planning process in conjunction with the CI team. Build strong relationships with retail partners. Take a keen interest in brand, brand trends and demonstrate a passion to improve and optimise our brands on-going. Support our Corporate Communications team to enhance the brands reputation. Proactively work with digital and social teams to leverage the increasing opportunities these channels present. Demonstrate thought leadership showing practical and innovative thinking for our brands. Continue to build and forge strong relationships with our partners which include working efficiently with our agencies and our retailers. Apply fresh thinking and a natural desire to generate ideas to optimise brand and department outcomes. Work with various cross functional teams to deliver key business objectives. Campaign measurement and reporting, ensuring the best return for investment. Stakeholder management. What we'er looking for: 5+ years of delivering strong results as part of a dynamic marketing team. A third level Marketing or Business qualification. A proven ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic innovative environment. An ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, possess strong presentation and organisational skills. Ability to work on one’s own initiative or as part of a team to achieve the organisational business objectives and Values. An interest and passion for food, food trends and food production would be desirable. Need to be creatively strong and demonstrate a sharp understanding and passion for the latest trends in food and affective consumer communications.
