Partnering with leading retailers and distributors across Ontario, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, we’re here to make some noise — and we need the right person to lead the charge.The RoleThe Sluggers Brand Manager – Canada is the face of the brand north of the border. You’ll be out in the field, building buzz, strengthening retail partnerships, and ensuring Sluggers shows up loud, proud, and premium at every touchpoint. From retail activations to in-store marketing and brand storytelling, this role is about driving sell-through while keeping our brand’s culture alive and authentic.This is your chance to own one of the most exciting cannabis brand launches in Canada and lay the foundation for long-term growth.What You’ll Do🚀 Brand Activation & Retail PresenceBuild relationships with key retail partners across Ontario, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.Secure top-tier merchandising placements (end caps, displays, shelf space) that stand out.Plan and execute pop-ups, demos, and community activations with retail partners.Coordinate local marketing calendars and retail campaigns that hit hard.Visit stores regularly to ensure quality, visibility, and feedback loops.🤝 Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Production, Design, Logistics, and Marketing to align on launches and timelines.Manage delivery of samples, swag, and promotional materials.Partner with Operations and Accounting to track POs and reporting.Use CRM and project management tools to keep everything running smoothly.📊 Reporting & Market InsightsTrack activation performance, visibility metrics, and ROI.Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and retail insights to shape strategy.Provide actionable feedback to help refine brand and product positioning in Canada.What You Bring3+ years in retail marketing, sales, or brand management (cannabis or regulated industry a plus).Hands-on experience running retail activations, merchandising, or events.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple provinces and partners.Tech-savvy with CRM, merchandising, and reporting tools.Bilingual (English/French) is an asset.Extra Points ForExperience with Canadian LPs or distributors.Familiarity with OCS, MBLL, and SLGA retail boards.Understanding of Canadian cannabis culture, retail standards, and compliance.A passion for creative brand storytelling backed by strong analytical chops.Other DetailsMay oversee brand ambassadors or event teams during activations.Requires frequent travel between provinces.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (event materials, displays, etc.).Must be authorized to work in Canada (no visa sponsorship).Why Join UsIf you’re ready to bring California’s most hyped cannabis brand to Canada — and help build something unforgettable — this is your stage.
