Business/QA AnalystsFlorida / RemoteFull Time / ContractPositions - 2Job SummaryThe Business/QA Analyst will collaborate with project managers, developers, technical architects, and business users to define, document, and validate business requirements through effective testing and functional design. The role ensures that applications and systems meet defined business needs by translating requirements into testable documentation, executing test plans, and supporting quality assurance across projects.This is a full-time or contract position with 2 openings, available remotely or in Florida.Key ResponsibilitiesWork on projects to design, test, and deploy applications that meet business requirements.Gather, document, and review functional requirements and user stories.Develop functional specifications and test cases based on business needs.Plan, create, and execute detailed test cases to validate system functionality.Collaborate effectively with project managers, developers, and stakeholders for requirement clarity and validation.Participate in Agile development cycles, including sprint reviews and backlog grooming.Perform data analysis and validation in a SQL environment.Ensure deliverables meet defined business and technical standards.Required SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), functional documentation, and testing processes.Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and validation.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management practices.Ability to interpret user stories and acceptance criteria accurately.Experience2+ years in testing mobile, web, and desktop applications.2+ years in functional design documentation.2+ years in test planning and execution.2+ years in data manipulation and analysis using SQL.Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Ability to work independently with general supervision and meet project deadlines.
