Business Development/BD Manager/Partnership Executive (Local Lifestyle Platform, Fast-growing and Collaborative Team)

My Client:My client is a fast-growing local lifestyle company based in Singapore, connecting millions of users with quality local merchants. To accelerate business expansion, they are seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team. You will drive merchant acquisition, partnership growth, and overall business performance in a dynamic startup environment.Key Responsibilities:Merchant Acquisition: Identify, approach, and onboard high-quality merchants across assigned sectors or districts through mapping, cold visits, and commercial negotiations.Account Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with partners, understanding their business needs and driving deeper collaborations (e.g., exclusive deals, campaigns, or bundle promotions).Market Insights: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to provide strategic recommendations to management.Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure smooth merchant onboarding and jointly plan promotional activities.Performance Achievement: Meet and exceed KPIs including signed merchants, campaign participation, and GMV growth.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or above.Minimum 2 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within O2O, internet, F&B, retail, or media sectors.Excellent communication and negotiation skills; able to confidently present value propositions to diverse partners.Highly self-driven and target-oriented, comfortable working under pressure.Strong relationship-building ability and enthusiasm for connecting with people.Bonus Points:Familiarity with Singapore’s F&B, entertainment, or lifestyle merchant ecosystem.Existing local business network or merchant connections.Active user of lifestyle or discount platforms, with passion for local discovery.What They Offer:Competitive compensation.A dynamic, inclusive, growth-driven work environment.Opportunities to work with a talented team.If it sounds like your next move, please don’t hesitate to apply.
