In partnership with around 1,500 suppliers in Germany and abroad, the necessary materials for the worldwide production plants of Mercedes-Benz Cars/Vans are provided. Locations in Germany, South Africa, China, India, Mexico and Argentina ensure proximity to production.To strengthen transparency and collaboration across the Asian sourcing market - particularly with suppliers in Korea and Japan, and manufacturing locations in Southeast Asia – we are kicking off the establishment of the MP Asia Hub, headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. The team will focus on long-term business and relationship development in the region.Its responsibilities mainly focus on enforced strategic business development with supplier partners in Asia and include initiating RFOs, leading negotiations, and driving related activities such as potential analysis evaluations.
