Benefits:Bonus based on performanceCompany partiesCompetitive salaryFlexible scheduleBusiness Development Intern (Full-Time or Part-Time)Hoods Unlimited and American Fire Shield are growing rapidly and looking for motivated, driven Business Development Interns to join our inside sales team.This internship offers real-world experience in sales, business development, and commercial services, working directly with decision-makers across the restaurant and hospitality industries.As a Business Development Intern, you’ll help generate new business opportunities for commercial kitchen exhaust hood cleaning and kitchen fire suppression services — essential, compliance-driven services required for restaurants, hospitals, schools, senior living communities, hotels, and other commercial kitchens.This is a hands-on opportunity to learn how a professional sales process works, from prospecting and outreach to qualifying opportunities and supporting deal closures.If you enjoy talking with people, learning about business, and want exposure to a fast-paced sales environment, this is a great opportunity to build practical experience.What You’ll DoAssist with outbound outreach to commercial kitchens (restaurants, hospitals, schools, hotels, senior living communities, etc.)Research and identify potential new customersQualify leads and identify decision-makersIntroduce company services and help generate interestSupport the sales team with follow-ups and lead trackingUpdate prospect information in the CRM systemLearn sales scripts, communication strategies, and objection handlingAssist in building and managing a pipeline of potential customersGain exposure to the full sales cycle from prospecting to closingWhat You’ll GainThis internship is designed to provide real business experience, including:Training on professional sales processesExperience using CRM and sales toolsExposure to commercial B2B salesCommunication and negotiation skill developmentInsight into operations of a growing service companyMentorship from experienced sales and business leadersCompensationHourly Pay: $16–$18 per hourOptional performance-based bonuses may be available for helping generate qualified opportunities that convert into customers.Flexible part-time or full-time schedules available.Benefits & PerksFlexible scheduling for studentsReal-world sales and business experienceMentorship and coaching from leadershipPotential opportunity for full-time employment after graduationSupportive and collaborative office environment(This is primarily an in-office position, though flexibility may be available depending on schedule and performance.)Who We’re Looking ForNo prior sales experience required — we will train the right candidate.Ideal candidates may be studying:BusinessMarketingSalesEntrepreneurshipCommunicationsHospitality or Restaurant ManagementWe care most about:Strong communication skillsConfidence speaking with peopleCoachability and willingness to learnMotivation and work ethicReliability and professionalismInterest in business and salesNo dental, health or life insurance coverage is available.
