Job Summary: One of our clients are looking for Business Development Manager who is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities within the Facilities Management (FM) sector. This includes promoting integrated FM solutions—such as hard and soft services, maintenance, cleaning, security, and energy management—to new and existing clients. The role focuses on strategic growth, client relationship management, and delivering sustainable revenue aligned with the company’s objectives. Key Responsibilities: 1. Business Development & Sales: • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target sectors (commercial, healthcare, education, industrial, government, etc.). • Develop and implement strategies to increase company market share and revenue in FM services. • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and bids to potential clients. • Manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation and qualification to contract negotiation and closure. 2. Client Relationship Management: • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders. • Understand client needs to propose tailored FM solutions that align with operational and financial objectives. • Act as the primary point of contact for new and existing clients during the tender and onboarding process. 3. Market Research & Strategy: • Conduct market analysis to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and new service opportunities. • Contribute to the development of pricing strategies and service offerings based on market intelligence. • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, finance, HSE, etc.) to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations and company standards. 4. Tendering & Proposals: • Lead the preparation of tender submissions, pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs), and request for proposals (RFPs). • Work with technical and operational teams to ensure proposals are commercially viable and operationally deliverable. • Review contract terms to ensure compliance and minimize risk exposure. 5. Performance & Reporting: • Meet or exceed agreed sales targets, KPIs, and profit margins. • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline in CRM systems. • Provide regular progress reports and business insights to senior management. Qualifications & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum 7+ years’ experience in business development or sales within the FM, property management, or service outsourcing industry. • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and winning FM contracts (hard, soft, or integrated services). • Strong understanding of FM operations, service delivery models, and contract structures (e.g., TFM, IFM, SLA/KPI-based agreements). • Experience in tendering for public and private sector clients.
