Business Development Manager – BNPL Mobile Phone Program

Location: IslamabadReports to: Country HeadPosition Overview:We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead the rollout of our Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) mobile phone program in Pakistan. The ideal candidate is well-connected in the local mobile phone market, understands the retail ecosystem deeply, and can build strong partnerships with retailers to drive BNPL adoption and sales performance.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and approach mobile phone retailers who have strong local influence and customer trust.Build and maintain long-term relationships with retail owners, shop managers, and distributors.Educate partners on BNPL products, the customer process, and system usage.Negotiate cooperation terms and ensure smooth onboarding of new retail partners.Drive BNPL program sales through active retailer engagement and shop-floor push.Work closely with retailers to design and execute local promotions or bundle offers.Monitor daily sales data and ensure sales targets are met within assigned territories.Provide ongoing training and motivation to store staff to promote BNPL effectively.Act as the first point of contact for retailers for operational or customer issues.Coordinate with internal teams (operations, risk, collections, marketing) to ensure smooth daily execution.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local handset pricing, competitor offers, and market trends.Prepare weekly activity reports and share recommendations for market expansion.Requirements: Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing, or related field preferred).Experience: 5+ years of experience in mobile phone retail, distribution, or telecom channel sales.Must have existing relationships or networks with mobile retailers or distributors in the assigned area.Experience in consumer financing, device sales, or BNPL is a strong plus.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.Self-motivated, responsible, and comfortable with field-based work.Strong understanding of the mobile retail landscape in Pakistan.Good command of English and Urdu; regional language knowledge is a plus.What We Offer:Competitive salary with attractive performance-based incentives.Opportunity to work with a leading fintech and telecom collaboration in Pakistan.Growth potential and leadership opportunities as the BNPL program expands nationwide.
