They work closely with Michelin-starred chefs, fine dining operators, premium hotels, and forward-thinking hospitality businesses, delivering exceptional produce and inspiring culinary solutions.The RoleAs a Business Development Manager, you will manage a portfolio of key customers, nurturing strong relationships and driving sustained commercial growth. You’ll be instrumental in identifying new opportunities, elevating customer engagement, and representing the business across the hospitality landscape. This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone who thrives in a people-focused, fast-paced environment.What You’ll Be Doing• Building and maintaining strong relationships across your customer portfolio• Driving basket growth and identifying new sales opportunities• Scoping, pitching, and converting new business within your region• Conducting structured depot and supplier visits to engage customers with the range• Tracking and analysing sales performance to maximise revenue• Providing monthly performance reports, highlighting wins, trends, and actions• Staying informed on food trends, competitors, and market developments• Collaborating closely with Marketing, NPD, Technical, and Operations teams• Representing the business at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunitiesWhat We’re Looking For• Strong relationship-building and communication skills• Proven commercial or sales experience (foodservice or hospitality preferred)• A proactive, self-motivated approach to achieving targets• Confidence in interpreting data and identifying growth opportunities• Passion for food, people, and delivering exceptional serviceIf you're interested please click apply or email your CV directly to tom.richards@harbourneassociates.com
