Job DescriptionAbout SIMA (Supply Chain & Industry Market Analytics)SIMA is a team of analysts carrying out in-depth analysis on GfK sell-out data and triangulating it with external data points to explain and anticipate developments in the technology-device marketplace. Our mission is to leverage GfK sell-out data to deliver timely, primary and incremental research to component suppliers, and branded vendors, globally. We deliver value by providing relevant forecast and analytical support to decision makers. We value ingenuity, simplicity and dedication to the achievement of team objectives. Our team is based in London, Tokyo, Seoul, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and Taipei, and is a very multi-national group. The combination of locations and a diverse team is a key strength, enabling us to readily serve clients and interact effectively in different markets around the globe.RoleThe role is responsible for sales with Japanese clients. Key targets are supply chain vendors such as component vendors, materials suppliers and foundries based in Japan. This is achieved by proper pipeline management, communication with robust understanding on data and analytics and negotiation skills. Typically, this role is required to open the doors at prospects, then build the relationship together with analyst team.
