We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to drive profitable growth for Gilbarco Veeder Root’s products and solutions in line with the accelerated growth strategy within the Nigeria market, reporting to the Sales Director travel will be required for 60% of time.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCollaborating with senior executives to establish and execute on the sales on the strategy for the regionManaging a sales team in order to maximize revenue and meet or exceed corporate-set targetsForecasting annual, quarterly and monthly sales targetsDeveloping specific sales plans to ensure growth both long and short-termEducating sales team with presentations of strategies, seminars and regular meetingsReviewing regional expenses and recommending improvementsManaging regional orders meticulously through strong collaboration with globally placed manufacturing facilitiesEnsure alignment and compliance with all relevant management systems, legislation and policiesChannel Partner and Funnel development and managementMarket Segmentation, analysis and penetrationDevelop and maintain relationships with customers, regulators, market participants and business partnersArrange customer training – products – certificationsOversee POC’sPERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Education/achievements RequiredBusiness Degree/DiplomaPreferredBusiness degree with strong technical experienceExperience/Knowledge Thorough knowledge of Nigeria marketThorough knowledge of incotermsProven success in solution environmentMarket development experienceEffective sales channel managementStrategic/tactical planning and executionPreferredTechnical sales experience with a multinational companyExperience in fuel automation and management spaceSpecific SkillsBudget managementResponding to RFP/TendersDeveloping and driving action plansResults orientatedDrives innovation and growthCustomer orientedSolution salesSelf-motivated and great interpersonal skillsGreat presentation skillsGilbarco Veeder-Root, a Vontier company, is the worldwide technology leader for retail and commercial fueling operations, offering the broadest range of integrated solutions from the forecourt to the convenience store and head office.
