With a strong track record of financial strength, service excellence, and customer trust, the Bank continues to expand its presence across the mortgage and housing finance value chain.Job Title: Business Development OfficerLocation: Lagos, NigeriaJob SummaryThe Business Development Officer will support the Bank’s growth by generating new business leads, promoting mortgage products, and managing client relationships. The role requires a target-driven professional with strong sales experience in mortgage banking, property finance, or commercial banking.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and pursue new clients for mortgage loans, property financing, and related banking services.Promote and sell the Bank’s mortgage and housing finance products to individual and corporate clients.Maintain active relationships with developers, agents, and institutional partners.Support loan processing and documentation in collaboration with credit and operations teams.Meet assigned monthly and quarterly sales and revenue targets.Participate in marketing campaigns, sales activations, and housing exhibitions.Provide accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates.Deliver excellent customer experience throughout the client journey.Educational QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.Knowledge, Skills & ExperienceMinimum of 3–4 years’ experience in mortgage banking, commercial banking, property sales, or loan marketing.Demonstrated ability to achieve sales and loan targets.Good understanding of mortgage products, property financing, and client acquisition strategies.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Strong customer relationship management and problem-solving capabilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic CRM tools.Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER Our client is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where diversity is celebrated.
