Our freelancers leverage AI to enhance creativity, productivity, and performance — delivering smarter, faster campaigns across Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Klaviyo, Customer.io, HubSpot, and more.Role OverviewWe’re looking for a proactive and relationship-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to help us expand Mandate’s footprint among marketing agencies across North America.You’ll focus on identifying, nurturing, and closing partnerships with agencies that want to offer best-in-class email marketing services to their clients.ResponsibilitiesIdentify and prospect marketing agencies that could benefit from Mandate’s freelancer network.Lead outreach campaigns (email, LinkedIn, events, and referrals).Build relationships with agency decision-makers (founders, heads of CRM, client services directors).Understand each agency’s capacity gaps and position Mandate as an extension of their team.Collaborate with the leadership team to refine outreach messaging and partnership structure.Maintain an active pipeline and hit quarterly lead generation and conversion targets.Represent Mandate at relevant events (virtually and in person – e.g., NYC, Montreal).Ideal Candidate3+ years of experience in sales or business development (ideally in marketing, SaaS, or creative services).Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.Familiarity with CRM/email marketing concepts is a strong asset.Self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment.Passion for AI and martech innovation.Why Join UsBe part of a growing marketplace redefining how agencies scale.Collaborate directly with founders and marketing leaders across North America.Shape Mandate’s go-to-market strategy from the ground up.Competitive base salary, generous commission structure, and growth opportunities.
