Are you passionate about data storytelling and excited by the opportunity to shape how insight is delivered in a modern NHS data environment?We’re recruiting a Business Intelligence Developer on a 12-month fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning data into accessible, visually compelling outputs aligned to clinical, operational and strategic priorities. You’ll lead the development of high-quality dashboards and reusable data models that support data-informed decision-making across the Trust.This is a hands-on Power BI development role focused on both designing effective data models and delivering impactful visualisations. You’ll help shape how datasets are prepared and structured for reporting, working alongside engineers, analysts and service teams to produce outputs that are trusted, consistent and meaningful.The role is primarily remote, but occasional in-person meetings and team activities are expected throughout the year. Applicants should be based within a reasonable distance of our Trust sites to enable occasional travel for in-person meetings or team activities, as required.'If we receive a high number of applications we reserve the right to close this vacancy at any point after 07-11-2025'.As a Business Intelligence Developer, you’ll be responsible for creating and maintaining dashboards that help teams across the Trust make sense of their data. You’ll gather reporting requirements, design effective data models, and build clear, reliable visual outputs in Power BI.You’ll work closely with colleagues and clinical teams to ensure reporting is based on accurate, trusted data. You’ll also support the migration of legacy reports, helping to streamline and standardise outputs across the organisation.The role requires strong Power BI skills, an eye for detail and the ability to manage your own workload from specification to release. Familiarity with SQL or similar languages is essential to support data validation and troubleshooting.
