If you're passionate about driving product innovation and delivering exceptional value to stakeholders, read on...Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy and Growth: Define and drive global and regional product strategies, growth objectives, and value propositions, while providing strategic direction and innovation based on evolving customer needs. Standardization and Best Practices: Drive global standardization and best practices, ensuring continuous improvement. Financial Planning: Plan and track global financial performance, ensuring accountability and long-term improvements to the P&L of the product portfolio. Technology and Innovation: To design, coordinate and manage the development and deployment of innovative platform products. Drive innovation strategy. Long-term pricing: Develop and guide global pricing strategies, manage tenders, and set pricing for long-term deals. Performance Management and KPIs: Own and manage performance through regular KPI reviews and insights, utilizing global tools to measure and enhance product performance.Product Strategy & VisionCraft and communicate a compelling product vision and roadmap that aligns with our business goals, industry trends, and customer needs.Drive innovation, including digital control towers, visibility and data insights, broker orchestration and operations automation through AI/ML.Conduct thorough market research and gather feedback from stakeholders to identify and prioritize product requirements.Prioritize product features and enhancements to ensure we deliver maximum value to our customers and internal stakeholdersGo-to-Market StrategyStrategize and sharpen the global expansion of the Maersk Customs Services product and its integration across all Maersk product portfolio offeringsPrioritize industry verticals, customer segments and geographical footprint based on ROI, right to win, product capabilities and operational footprintOversee the activation and rollout of new customs products and features.Ensure consistent delivery of customs services across geographies, including import/export clearance, duty/tax processingStakeholder CollaborationServe as the primary liaison between business teams across regions and HQ, clients, platform, and operations teams.Foster open and regular communication to maintain alignment and transparency across all teams.Who We're Looking ForAs the Business Product Owner for Customs House Brokerage, you will lead the strategic development, execution, and growth of Maersk’s CHB product portfolio. You will be responsible for orchestrating product innovation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering exceptional value to customers through digitized, scalable customs solutions. You will need to be able to navigate a complex organisation and dive into the detail to understand customer pain points as well as be able to demonstrate the following:Innovative Thinker: You have a knack for thinking outside the box and can develop creative solutions to complex supply chain and trade problems.Strong Communicator: You excel in both written and verbal communication, making sure all stakeholders are informed and aligned.Analytical Mindset: You are data-driven and can translate insights into actionable strategies.Collaborator: You thrive in a team environment and can lead cross-functional teams to success.Customer-Centric: You always keep the customer's needs at the forefront of your decision-making process.Business Process Expert: You have a deep understanding of business processes and can leverage this knowledge to drive product improvements.Product Manager: prior experience in product management in the services space is ideal. You'll have knowledge of product management tools and framework/s (at Maersk we use 3PDF). Experience with product enablement, compliance, and digital transformation in logisticsTo succeed in this role, we believe that you can offerMin 10 years direct experience in Customs and Trade complianceExtensive technical Customs House Brokerage Product knowledge including pricing, operations and go to market strategies Proven experience in customs brokerage, logistics, or supply chain product management.Strong understanding of customs regulations, digital platforms, and broker networks.Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work independently and influence cross-functional teams.
