Assistant Vice President (AVP), Relationship ManagerThe AVP Relationship Manager is responsible for managing and servicing a portfolios of wide ranging and complex corporate client relationships.
The AVP Relationship Manager shall be instrumental in Risk Management, People Management, Client Relationships, Strategic Initiatives & Special Projects as well as the financial performance of the Corporate Banking department. Your responsibilities will include: Overseeing the timely onboarding of new clients, periodic KYC/CDD reviews and alerts processing. Ensuring the timely completion of credit reviews, whilst managing Non-accrual Loans within agreed risk tolerances. Formulating & leading sector specific business development strategies. Maximizing the profitability of each client relationship by executing actions from client plans and identifying opportunities for further business development.
Managing and developing your portfolio of corporate customers, focusing on borrowing as well as non-borrowing customers, negotiating and documenting complex proposals. Develop, review and critique complex proposals and facilities prior to submission to the Bank’s Credit, Reputational Risk or other Committees to ensure that only high-quality proposals are presented and are in line with current policies, standards and risk appetite. Prepare bespoke modelling and cash management structures as required for a wide breadth of clientsSupporting any internal and external audits to successful completion. Any other duties that befit this position.

We provide tailored financial services and advice to help our clients thrive and grow. As a global team, we are able to provide direct access to a range of corporate financial services, such as accounts, investments and corporate financing. Your qualifications and skills include: Bachelor’s degree and 7 years relevant experience. A further Professional qualification or MBA would desirable.
A detailed understanding of the business and credit requirements of the global financial services industry coupled with a sound working knowledge of the related accounting and global regulatory environments. Superior analytical and risk management skills including financial analysis and credit structuring/restructuring. Ability to write and manage complex credit facilities including syndicated/club lines. Experience of trade finance, documentary and standby letters of credit regulations. Excellent understanding of banking products and services, the Corporate Banking function, lending and risk assessment, treasury services. Superior presentation and communications skills and ability to interact successfully at senior management level.
