Department: BuyingLocation: Support Office (Paddington)Compensation: £26,000 - £30,000 / yearDescriptionPlanet Organic is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Buying Administration Assistant to join our team. The role primarily involves providing administrative support to the Buying team, ensuring efficient product listing processes, maintaining accurate records, and fostering effective communication with stores and suppliers.Key ResponsibilitiesDaily TasksSupport the stores and buying team with operational issues, such as resolving non-scanning lines or database problems.Work with the Finance and IT teams to maintain a functioning product database and EPOS system.Weekly TasksCheck the invoice matching system for pricing discrepancies and resolve any issues.List new products onto the product database and delist old ones.Maintain online product information and images.Update product prices as required.Manage the Store Support inbox.Monthly TasksPrepare monthly sales reports for key suppliers.Create central purchase orders as necessary.Support the organisation of meetings and presentations, including Team Leader meetings.Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.Attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and self-check work.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and internal teams.Ability to work independently and manage workload in a fast-paced environment.Passion for organic, natural, and sustainable products.Benefits35% colleague discount across all stores33 days of holiday per year, including public holidaysAccess to our benefits after 3 months serviceAccess to our pension arrangements after 3 months serviceBe part of a welcoming, mission-driven team dedicated to making a positive impact
