Cash Applications Specialist

Vaco Atlanta is hiring a Cash Applications Specialist to join a rapidly growing, professional services company. In this high-impact role, you'll ensure customer payments are applied accurately and on time-directly supporting clean AR, strong cash flow, and overall financial health.Role: Cash Applications Specialist Location: Dunwoody, GA Onsite: Hybrid Job Type: Contract to Hire Compensation: $22 - $28/hourWhat You'll Do:Apply daily payments (ACH, wire, check, credit card) to open invoices in NetSuite.Reconcile remittance advice, resolve unapplied cash, short pays, and discrepancies.Research unidentified funds and support month-end close.Partner closely with Collections and Billing teams to ensure accuracy.Maintain organized documentation and assist with audits and reporting. What You Need:5+ years cash applications/AR experience (service environment ideal).Advanced Excel + NetSuite expertise required.Strong reconciliation, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work efficiently with high volumes.Polished, proactive, and team-oriented.
