Job Description

About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Sr. Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with NetSuite and be comfortable managing core accounting functions such as fixed assets, inventory, reconciliations, and month-end close activities. This role will also support M&A integration efforts, including onboarding new bank accounts, incorporating acquired entities into NetSuite, and ensuring seamless alignment of accounting processes. Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral Accounting & ClosePrepare and post journal entries related to prepaids, accruals, fixed assets, and inventory.Ensure timely and accurate month-end close processes.Maintain account reconciliations (cash, prepaid expenses, accruals, and other balance sheet accounts).Fixed Assets & InventoryManage the NetSuite Fixed Asset module including additions, disposals, depreciation, and reconciliations.Track inventory transactions, reconciliations, and adjustments in NetSuite to ensure accuracy and compliance.Cash Management & ReconciliationsMonitor cash balances and prepare bank reconciliations for multiple accounts.Support treasury functions, including the setup of new accounts and monitoring cash activity during acquisitions.M&A IntegrationAssist with onboarding new entities into NetSuite, ensuring consistent accounting treatment across the organization.Work with cross-functional teams to integrate accounting processes, reporting structures, and bank accounts of acquired practices.Compliance & Process ImprovementEnsure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CPA-track preferred.2–5+ years of progressive accounting experience.Hands-on experience with NetSuite required.Strong knowledge of GAAP and standard accounting practices.Experience with fixed asset and inventory accounting.M&A integration or multi-entity accounting experience a strong plus.Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical/problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
