We employ irrespective of background, age, ethnicity, colour, gender, disability, sexual or religious orientation and marital status.About the RoleThis exciting role within our YUM Asia Franchise Business Unit is responsible for leading the procurement and supply chain management of indirect categories, including equipment, chemicals, premium items and etc. You will drive world-class standards in supply chain, food safety and operations, support franchisee markets, and develop integrated programs to assure compliance with competitive cost, food safety, quality, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.The role requires travelling to support markets in Asia as and when required.What Success Looks LikeAchieve cost savings and supply reliability targetsNo supply disruptions; effective risk mitigation plans in placeStrong supplier and franchisee relationships; compliance with brand standardsTimely and effective communication of In-Direct product catalogues, supplier approvals, and process updatesYour Roles and ResponsibilitiesEquipment, Chemical, Premium and Indirect ProcurementDevelop and implement sourcing strategies for equipment, chemicals, premium products and In-direct to support business objectives.Lead supplier negotiations, contract management and cost-saving initiatives.Analyze commodity trends and spending to inform procurement strategies.Ensure supply continuity and risk mitigation.Supplier & Franchisee RelationshipsBuild and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and franchise partners.Educate and engage suppliers on partnership expectations and compliance.Support franchisees in supply needs, including knowledge management and training.Compliance Assurance & EfficiencyEnsure all Yum Supply Chain compliance protocol, including conduct supplier/franchisee audits, risk assessment and mitigation planCoordinate engineering and quality assurance activities for equipment testing to ensure quality control, including to resolve Indirect product problems and maximize reliabilityCoordinate engineering and quality assurance to develop workflow methods and cost analysis systems to promote efficiency.Cross-Functional & Global CollaborationCollaborate with Global and Regional supply chain teams.Liaise with internal teams (SCM, QA, Operations, Marketing) and external partners.Premium Product ManagementManage the product catalogue for premium items.Oversee supplier agent contracts, onboarding, and compliance for premium products.Your Top-Notch QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline (Supply Chain/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering preferred). Minimum 5 years’ experience in food/restaurant equipment, chemical, premium product or restaurant indirect supply chain management. Strong negotiation, analytical, project management and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to work cross-functionally and independently.
