The organisation plays a pivotal role in enabling safe, efficient, and sustainable operations across industries, with a strong commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.The Singapore manufacturing site serves as a key operational hub supporting multiple business units across Southeast Asia through its integrated production, supply chain, and logistics functions.As part of ongoing efforts to enhance end-to-end supply chain efficiency, the company is seeking an experienced Planning Manager to lead its demand, materials and production planning function. This role is central to aligning manufacturing output, inventory targets, and customer delivery performance across a dynamic and fast-moving business environment.Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesThis position will oversee the site’s planning organization and play a strategic role in balancing supply, demand, and operational priorities. The successful candidate will lead a team of planners responsible for demand forecasting, production scheduling, material availability, and service delivery.In this role, you will:Lead the planning function, setting clear performance expectations and ensuring alignment with site production, inventory, and customer service goals.Drive effective S&OP execution, collaborating cross-functionally with procurement, operations, sales, and customer service to achieve forecast accuracy and delivery targets.Oversee production and material planning, ensuring the timely availability of raw materials and capacity to meet customer demand across multiple product lines.Optimize inventory performance by maintaining balanced stock levels, minimizing excess and obsolescence, and improving supply visibility.Monitor operational KPIs such as DIFOT, schedule adherence, and forecast accuracy, while implementing corrective actions where required.Handle escalations and exceptions involving supply constraints, production disruptions, or customer order priorities, ensuring effective resolution.Champion process improvement projects focused on planning efficiency, cost optimization, and system utilization through digital and lean initiatives.Collaborate on plant performance programs such as continuous improvement, TPM, and 5S to strengthen operational discipline and team engagement.Develop and mentor team members, providing structured coaching, feedback, and career development pathways to elevate functional capability.Foster a culture of accountability and collaboration that promotes ownership, data-driven decision-making, and cross-departmental partnership.Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will bring a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on leadership within a manufacturing or process-driven environment.Requirements:Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or Business-related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in production or materials planning, preferably within FMCG, specialty chemicals, or industrial manufacturing.Proven track record in leading planning teams and delivering measurable improvements in supply chain performance.Strong analytical mindset with demonstrated ability to manage complexity and large data sets.Advanced proficiency in Excel; exposure to SAP, JDA, or similar planning tools is advantageous.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with a collaborative working style.Detail-oriented, structured, and proactive with a passion for continuous improvement.Strong people leadership with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.What’s on OfferThis is a leadership opportunity within a global organization known for operational excellence and employee development.
