Our client is a large group, active in infrastructure and green mobility with HQ in Brussels.MISSIONThe role of the Category Pürchasing Manager is a key role within the Purchasing department to take care of the purchase of important projects related to maintenance and services. THE POSITIONDefine of purchasing strategy;Negotiate at high level key strategic contracts;Define KPI’s to monitor purchasing activities;Manage a small team of strategic buyers;Mobilize internal resources;Maintain network with all departments of the group;THE PROFILEBachelor or Master degree; Proven experience (min 5 years) in purchasing; Excellent negotiation skills;Strong team member skills; Excellent communication skills;Personal skills: business acumen, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, hands-on, ability to manage complexity;Fluency in Dutch and/or French (and preferably English).
