We’re looking for a Payments Project Manager with expertise in payments infrastructure and core banking systems. By supporting the transformation of payments operations, you’ll enable financial institutions and players across the value chain - from fintechs to market infrastructures - to keep pace with changing customer behavior and technological innovation.Your key responsibilities:Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, guiding payment-related projects from concept to completion.Contribute to robust program governance, effectively managing stakeholders and collaborating with initiative owners and Business Program Managers.Oversee project delivery, including monitoring, reporting, and adapting agile methodologies for efficient execution.Coordinate contributions from diverse teams to achieve end-to-end delivery of payment solutions.Proactively assess risks and manage issues, ensuring smooth program progression and mitigating potential roadblocks.Handle capacity planning and resource management, optimizing team performance and project timelines.Assist with financial management, overseeing budgets and supporting the development of strong business cases for payment initiatives.Your skills and qualificationsExcellent knowledge of business English, Dutch or French is a plus7+ years of experience managing complex projects or programsProven track record in payments-related initiatives within consultancy, banking, or payment service providersStrong knowledge of payment systems and technologiesSolid understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Prince2, PMBOK, …)Strong leadership and communication skillsSkilled in stakeholder management with a diplomatic approachStrong plus if you have subject matter knowledge in areas such as:Payments and Core Banking.Instant PaymentsSWIFT innovationsMarket InfrastructureClearing & Settlement.Cards / Digital Payments.Corporate Payments and Treasury.PSD2, Open Banking and Embedded Finance.Retail and mobile Payments.(Central Bank) Digital currencies (including blockchain technology)What can you expect from us?At Projective Group, we believe in rewarding ambition and supporting growth—both professionally and personally.
