CCTV OPERATOR/ YARD SUPERINTENDENT

Job Description:To provide efficiently, quality customer retention and service.·      Monitoring security system, responding to alarms, and coordinating with security personnel and emergency.·      Operating the National Control Center CCTV·      Maintaining clear and consistent communication between the control center and individuals stores, as well as with other department·      Ensuring all stores adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, security, and inventory management.·      Maintain accurate records of incidents and security logs, enabling timely reporting and analysis·      Overseeing daily operations within a yard, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with regulations.·      Directing and coordinating the activities of yard staff, including laborers, machine operators, and other personnel.·      Conducting regular security inspections of the yard and equipment.·      Ensuring that the staff adhere to security regulations and company policies regarding security and compliance.·      Developing and implementing processes to improve security efficiency within the yard.·      May be required to perform other general duties as needed.·      Generating reports on store performance, inventory levels, and other related metrics. Education/Experience:Preferred:·      High school diploma/GED.·     Certificate in Security and Compliance or any related field.·      University Degree in Computer any computer science related field·      Master’s Degree – is an Added Advantage·      Knowledge of access control systems, CCTV, and alarm systems is crucial for the protection of assets and personnel. Skills, abilities, knowledge, licenses, certifications:·      Leadership and Team Management: The ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively is essential·      Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed for interacting with staff, other departments, and potentially clients or suppliers.·      Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: The ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure is important.·      Organizational and Time Management Skills: The ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and maintain an organized yard are critical.  ·      Safety Awareness: A strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices for yard operations is essential·      Honesty and trustworthiness – handling cash.·      Age requirement – usually 18+ in Zambia for handling money
