Join us in shaping the future of telecommunications in Afghanistan.Mission/Core purpose of the JobThe Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) will be responsible for leading the commercial strategy of ATOMA. This role entails overseeing the sales, marketing, and customer service functions to ensure alignment with the company's business goals. The CCO will play a critical role in expanding our market presence, driving revenue growth, and enhancing customer satisfaction.Key Performance AreasDeveloping and Implementing Commercial Strategy:Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy to achieve business growth and increase market share.Align the commercial strategy with the company’s overall vision and objectives, ensuring cross-functional integration and coherence.Regularly review and adapt the strategy to respond to market trends, competitive dynamics, and internal business performance.Driving Revenue Growth:Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.Develop and oversee the implementation of effective sales and marketing plans that meet revenue targets.Analyze market data and financial metrics to make informed decisions that maximize profitability.Enhancing Customer Experience:Develop and implement customer service standards and processes to ensure exceptional customer experience.Monitor customer satisfaction levels through feedback mechanisms and take corrective actions where necessary.Work closely with the customer service team to resolve issues promptly and enhance customer loyalty.Fostering Innovation:Drive a culture of innovation within the commercial teams to stay ahead of industry trends and enhance competitiveness.Oversee digital transformation initiatives to improve customer engagement and operational efficiency.Encourage the adoption of new technologies and data-driven approaches to decision-making.Increased Revenue and Market Share:Develop strategies that focus on expanding the company's market presence and acquiring new customers.Implement initiatives aimed at retaining existing customers and increasing their lifetime value.Continuously evaluate market conditions and adjust strategies to maintain a competitive edge.Improved Operational Efficiency:Streamline commercial processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.Implement performance metrics and KPIs to monitor and enhance team productivity.Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the commercial teams.Enhanced Customer Loyalty:Develop and enhance customer retention strategies to build long-term relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction.Implement loyalty programs and initiatives that reward repeat business and customer advocacy.Leverage customer data to personalize experiences and address individual needs.Innovation and Competitiveness:Promote a forward-thinking mindset that embraces change and innovation.Stay abreast of industry developments and competitor activities to ensure the company remains competitive.Encourage creative solutions and new ideas that drive business growth and differentiation.Compliance and Risk Management:Ensure all commercial activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.Identify and mitigate commercial risks, including market risks and operational risks.Develop and implement risk management strategies to safeguard the company’s interests in line with the applicable laws and regulations.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior commercial role, preferably in the telecom industry.Proven track record of developing and executing successful commercial strategies.Experience in managing large sales, marketing, and customer relations teams.Knowledge:Financial acumenKnowledge of concepts, principles and practices of Marketing, Sales, and customer relationsGeneral knowledge of the overall business.Performance appraisal.Knowledge of developing SOPs and regulatory requirementsPerformance enhancement and improvementsProject planning and controlService level agreement managementTelecommunications Industry knowledgeVendor management.Knowledge of MTNA’s and competitors’ product and servicesQuality assuranceSkills / physical competencies:Conflict resolutionMarketing, Sales, and Customer Care skillsExceptional project management skillsTeam/people management.Interpersonal; facilitation; negotiation and mediation skillsPlanning and OrganizingStakeholder relations managementCommunication and Presentation skillsDecision-making and Problem-solvingSubmission Guidelines Interested applicants can send their applications and resumes (with three valid references) by March 9, 2026 to (careers@atoma.com.af) email address.
