Chief Financial Officer

A private equity-backed services group with a nationwide footprint is seeking a commercially minded CFO to support the next phase of growth. The business employs more than 1,000 people across a large network of German locations and is expanding into neighbouring European markets.This is a key strategic hire. The CEO is looking for a sparring partner who can bring structure, challenge, and financial leadership to a complex, people-intensive organisation. The company has delivered steady EBITDA performance and is now focused on improving margins, strengthening processes, and supporting a small number of targeted acquisitions (not a buy-and-build strategy). A large shared-services function is operated from an international location.Your profile • Proven CFO or senior finance leader in businesses with large workforces and complex operational models • Experience working directly with private equity investors and delivering high-quality PE reporting • Strong track record of margin improvement and financial optimisation • Able to act as a strategic partner to the CEO while maintaining operational oversight • Comfortable being on-site in the Hannover region four days per week • German and English proficiency
