PortCo of a tier 1 Autralian PE firm Partner with an outstanding CEO, ELT and BoardMarket leader focused on technology & innovation | Accelerated growthThe OpportunityThis is an excellent opportunity for a Sydney based Chief Financial Officer to join the portfolio company of a leading Australian PE firm.Deal-making, capital management, commercial negotiations, business development and customer engagement will all be core activities concurrent with the usual financial responsibilities of a traditional Chief Financial Officer.The ChallengeThis is an ideal role for an outstanding finance executive who wants to play a part in shaping the future direction of the business. The role will be challenging and exciting as you are overseeing the routine of the finance function while also being directly involved in complex commercial matters and the strategic direction of the business.Partnering with the CEO, the ELT and the PE group, your responsibilities will include:Ensuring the preparation of timely financial and management reports for the companyPlanning and directing the company's strategic long term financial goals while evaluating existing plansPartnering with the ELT on all treasury, financing and debt management strategies for the companyCreating and maintaining an effective management performance framework for the companyConduct commercial reviews and financial analysis of key business opportunities and strategic projectsAnalyse business performance data, identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for cost reduction and recommend process improvements to enhance outcomesSupport the business in pricing strategy, including major customer contracts and re-tenders, ensuring a rigorous approach to pricing decisions and margin optimisationDeveloping and maintaining dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metricsCoordinating all tax, audit matters and reporting mattersTaking a lead role in driving improvements in systems and processes throughout the companyThe ExpertiseThis opportunity is appropriate for a current Chief Financial Officer or Finance Director with previous experience working in a leading PE portfolio company.
