The Financial Accountant will play a key part in maintaining the accuracy of the general ledger, supporting month-end close, and delivering high-quality reporting across multiple entities.It’s a hands-on, varied role ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach who enjoys working in a dynamic, multi-entity environment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPrepare and review general journals, accruals, and reconciliations in line with month-end deadlines.Complete and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, investigating any anomalies or variances.Oversee and support weekly payment runs and cash flow reporting.Prepare GST/VAT returns and manage related queries.Assist with audit requests and other statutory compliance requirements.Partner with internal teams to support financial analysis and ad hoc projects.Contribute to process and system improvements across the finance function.SKILLS & EXPERIENCEDegree qualified in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.CA/CPA qualified (or working towards).Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a Financial Accounting role within a fast-paced environment.Strong technical accounting skills and a solid understanding of accounting standards.Advanced Excel skills and experience using Oracle or similar ERP systems.Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.Experience in retail or multi-entity environments highly desirable.BENEFITS$95k-100k + superGlobal brand exposure with ongoing growth and expansion.Collaborative, close-knit finance team.Opportunities for career progression and professional development.Discounts and perks across global retail brands.APPLY NOWThis is a great opportunity for a hands-on Financial Accountant looking to join a global retail leader and contribute to a business in an exciting phase of growth.Apply now or contact Aisling at aisling@twoscotsrecruitment.com.au for a confidential conversation.
