As we prepare to scale into a multi-slate entertainment studio, we are seeking a Chief Human Resources & Co-Chief Culture Officer (CHRO) who is not only a seasoned HR leader, but a champion for justice, equity, and compassionate leadership.This role is for someone who understands that culture is strategy, and who believes deeply in building systems that protect dignity, foster belonging, and create space for people to do the best work of their lives.Why This Role MattersThis role will have profound influence over:How Quentasia growsWho we becomeHow we are perceived by creators, investors, partners, and audiencesThis is an opportunity to architect a culture-first entertainment studio from the ground up—something this industry desperately lacks.Key ResponsibilitiesCulture & Values LeadershipServe as the guardian of Quentasia’s culture and co-architect of a workplace grounded in fairness, transparency, and respect.Ensure our values are internalized, practiced, and upheld across all departments and productions.Lead initiatives that build a culture of compassionate leadership, accountability, and psychological safety.DEI Advocacy & Justice-Driven StrategyAct as a serious and vocal advocate for diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in all aspects of hiring, leadership, pay equity, and creative decision-making.Design frameworks that ensure marginalized communities are not just represented—but empowered and centered.Uphold equitable practices across recruitment, promotion, compensation, and leadership pipelines.People Operations & Organizational ArchitectureOversee full lifecycle HR: recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, compensation, and compliance.Establish HR systems that scale across multiple simultaneous productions and divisions.Build the foundation for fair and equitable pay structures and ownership pathways.Union & Guild RelationsSupport compliance and positive engagement with IATSE, SAG-AFTRA, WGA, DGA, and other guilds/ unions.Help ensure fair, transparent, and culturally aligned labor practices.Senior Leadership FormationPlay a key role in selecting and shaping Quentasia’s founding leadership team.Partner directly with the CEO in identifying C-suite candidates, evaluating culture fit, and determining long-term leadership needs.Workplace Climate, Safety & Well-BeingDevelop proactive systems for conflict resolution, workplace wellness, anti-harassment, and psychological safety.Create structures that protect staff working on trauma-spanning or emotionally heavy content.Ideal Candidate ProfileSenior HR leader with experience in entertainment, creative industries, or mission-driven organizations.Demonstrated track record of building inclusive, equitable, and values-driven cultures.A compassionate leader who can navigate complexity with clarity and empathy.Deep understanding of people systems, compliance, and organizational development.Familiarity with unionized workforces preferred.A principled partner to executives and staff, with the backbone to stand for what’s right.Entrepreneurial spirit and comfort operating in a lean, evolving startup environment.Engagement StructureBecause we are in a pre-funding stage, the role begins as:Advisory or fractional, transitioning to full-time as funding is securedParticipation in senior leadership selectionsAdvisory shares granted to reflect early belief and contributionCompensation package (salary + equity) activated post-fundingCandidates must be willing to sign a non-binding Letter of Intent (LOI) confirming interest in being identified as part of Quentasia’s founding leadership circle.The OpportunityMost studios hire CHROs to manage problems.
