If you're inspired by our mission, values, and drive to change how we energize the future — we'd love your application.As PHENOGY enters its next phase of growth, we are hiring a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to establish and lead our IT and digital strategy — building a future-ready department from the ground up that connects technology, business, and culture across the company and supports our long-term ambitions.This role will guide the creation of PHENOGY's future IT organization — connecting operational excellence with digital product development, and positioning technology as a strategic enabler across all areas of the business.As a key voice in the executive team, the CIO will ensure that IT and digital strategy are deeply integrated with PHENOGY's evolving organizational goals. With increasing complexity and ambitious growth ahead, this role will shape the evolution of our IT capabilities, structure, and culture — from foundational setup to strategic maturity.Your responsibilities:Represent IT and digital strategy at the executive level and act as a strategic sparring partner to the boardDefine and execute PHENOGY's IT strategy in alignment with business goals and product roadmapBuild and lead a hybrid IT department with internal ownership and strategic external partnersOversee enterprise architecture across internal systems and digital productsDrive compliance, governance, and security across all IT areasCoordinate cross-functional initiatives across departments, subsidiaries, and locationsTranslate business needs into scalable IT solutions and digital servicesOversee the recruiting process for expanding internal IT and development resourcesPromote innovation through AI, data, and automation initiativesMust have's:Proven experience in IT leadership roles (CIO, Head of IT, IT Director, etc.)Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, IT operations, and cloud infrastructureExperience in building and scaling IT departments from early-stage to maturityFamiliarity with compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC, GDPR)Strategic mindset with the flexibility to evolve with a growing organizationExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience working with international teams and cross-functional projectsCommitment to preserving and evolving company culture as a modern, inclusive leaderNice to have's:Experience in energy, battery, or industrial technology sectorsFamiliarity with Microsoft 365, Azure, Dynamics 365 Business CentralUnderstanding of digital product development, IoT, and data platformsBackground in managing IT during business expansion or transformationWe offer you:Join a high-caliber environment that enables you to develop your full potential, shape your job, and take ownership.Participate in the development of PHENOGY and inspire the world to transition to sustainable energy.Become part of our eco-passionate expert team - a first-class team all around.
