Position OverviewThis is a rare opportunity to join Deutsche Bank’s Swiss Corporate Finance Team in Zurich as a full-time Investment Banking Analyst. As a career starter in Deutsche Bank’s Investment Bank (IB), you will be an important team member in the origination and execution of the bank’s corporate finance business.Our Corporate Finance franchise provides the full range of integrated investment banking products and services for our clients across industries, including financial advisory in M&A, equity and debt capital markets transactions and leveraged buyouts.As an Investment Banking Analyst in our Zurich office, you will contribute to the bank’s M&A execution and capital raising abilities while building our reputation in the Swiss market with the seamless execution of corporate finance transactions. As part of this role you will work with product and sector experts based across the globe, thereby gaining experience in a wide array of industries and products.You will experience excellent financial and modelling training, gain hands-on learning experiences and develop skills in all major areas of investment banking with the aim of being able to execute large corporate transactions.Responsibilities:Taking an active and productive role in live transactionsPreparing complex financial and valuation analyses as well as corresponding modelsWorking with senior bankers to help originate, structure and execute transactionsDeveloping understanding of our clients’ businesses to tailor solutions to their needsPreparing presentations and other documents for marketing purposes and live dealsConducting and coordinating due diligence processesSkills:University degree (BSc or MSc) ideally in Banking, Finance, Accounting or EconomicsPrior internship experience in Corporate Finance / M&A, preferably with a leading investment bank or boutiqueStrong numerical, analytical and financial modelling skillsHigh level of focus on work quality and attention to detailSelf-directed, able to work independently and under pressureExcellent communication skills and high self-motivationCreative problem solving abilitiesHigh degree of maturity and strong commitment to integrity and teamworkExcellent oral and written command of English and GermanApplication process:We kindly ask you to upload only complete application files (CV, reference letters and university transcripts).Our cultural aspiration is to be ‘empowered to excel together every day’.
