We are committed to providing care and treatment to all types of patients with simple to complex footcare concerns. Our typical patient base consists of patients living with diabetes as well as those with biomechanical concerns as well as skin and nail conditions.IT systems:We value being able to provide exceptional care in an efficient manner. Our interconnected PIPPEDA compliant EMR, CRM, online booking, billing, reminder and LMS systems allow just that. Moreover, they allow our entire team to collaborate on patient care.Our clinics are additionally supported by skilled Medical Office Administrators, so you can focus on patient care while we handle scheduling, patient communications, and administrative tasks.Here is a link to learn more about what makes working at LMC different than all the rest: CareersCurrently, our rapidly growing team is in need of a Chiropodist who can work at our LMC Etobicoke location.More about the opportunity:Unmatched referral network of LMC Endocrinologists and family physiciansExisting patient demandInternal and external marketing programs so that you can have a continuously growing patient base from both LMC specialists as well as family physiciansExtensive product knowledge training (orthotics, compression, OTCs etc.)Direct support from the Footcare Division’s Manager, Medical Education and Clinical Operations, Chiropody Coordinator, Medical Office Assistant and Medical RepresentativeSupport to assist with your onboarding, product conversions, clinical supplies, operational procedures, IT etcResponsibilities:Full scope of practice Chiropody according to the standards of the College of Chiropodists of OntarioProviding patient care including and not limited to nail and callous care, wart treatments, treating chronic and acute wounds, performing soft tissue surgeries, biomechanical and gait analysis for offloading purposesCollaborating with an inter-professional team including Endocrinologists, Nurses, Diabetes Educators, Pharmacists, etcEnsuring treatment rooms and equipment are all well maintainedProviding foot education to patients and other local professionalsNetworking with community physiciansQualifications:Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsExpertise in providing care to individuals with diabetesProficiency in use of EMR systemsExcellent decision making and problem-solving skillsAbility to take initiativeWillingness to work in a team environmentGraduate Diploma from a recognized school of Chiropody with professional certification (D.Ch. or D.Pod.M.)Member in good standing with College of Chiropodists without limitationsTo apply, please email your resume to Footcare@lmc.caLMC Healthcare is an organization committed to ensuring accessible services and communications to individuals with disabilities.
