Our culture of maintaining a strong client focus, delivering on promises, and understanding client and project needs is fully integrated into our approach.The OpportunityWe’re looking for a capable and motivated Civil or Senior Civil Engineer to join our Brisbane team – someone who enjoys tackling complex design challenges and contributing to high-quality project outcomes.You’ll work closely with our Principal Civil Engineer and collaborate with our multidisciplinary engineering and project delivery teams. Our work spans local and international projects, predominantly in the mining and industrial sectors, with growing opportunities in energy and transport infrastructure through our broader Agilitus group.This role offers variety, autonomy, and genuine input into how projects are designed and delivered. It’s ideal for an engineer who wants to apply their design skills in a multidisciplinary environment – and have a hand in shaping how the civil team continues to grow.What You’ll DoDeliver and support civil design across earthworks, roads, drainage, surface water management, and non-process infrastructure.Prepare concept and detailed designs, models, drawings, and reports, ensuring quality, accuracy, and constructability.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated engineering solutions that align with client needs.Provide technical input from feasibility through to detailed design and construction support.Liaise directly with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to solve problems and deliver practical, cost-effective solutions.Support project planning, QA, and proposal development to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery.What you can bring to the teamDegree in Civil EngineeringChartered Engineer / RPEQYou will have at least 5+ years’ experience with civil engineering design and project delivery, ideally across mining and industrial infrastructure. Strong technical background in earthworks, roads, and drainage; experience in transport or infrastructure projects will be well regardedHydrology and water services design would be advantageousExperience with 12d and AutoCAD (Civil 3D or similar design software) will be highly regardedFamiliar with Australian Standards, Austroads, and TMR frameworks.Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively in a team environment.Excellent communicator who enjoys collaborating across disciplines and driving engineering solutions forward.Why Join Agilitus QLDThis is more than a job, it’s an opportunity to be part of a growing, multidisciplinary business where your contribution directly influences project outcomes and business success.
