ResourceCo work with governments, communities and multinational companies to progress the circular economy and preserve natural resources for a sustainable future.With a team of more than 900 people, ResourceCo is proud to attract and employ dedicated global leaders in the field who share a deep understanding of the technology, markets, stakeholder engagement and policies required to transform the remanufacturing sector.An outstanding opportunity has arisen within ResourceCo’s Soil Reuse and Recycling business for a Tenders and Contracts Manager to join the team; responsible for leading the tendering, commercial negotiation, and contract management functions. This role is accountable for driving sustainable business growth by securing major projects, managing key customer procurement team relationships, and mitigating contractual and operational risk in alignment with ResourceCo Group strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the preparation and submission of tenders, expressions of interest, and proposals for major clients (including Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors).Identify, track, and manage bid opportunities to maintain a healthy and competitive project pipeline.Collaborate with Business Development and State Managers to develop pricing strategies that support market competitiveness and margin optimisation.Facilitate the review, negotiation, and execution of customer and supplier contracts.Translate contractual obligations into operational delivery objectives, providing guidance to relevant State Managers or their representatives.Support the Finance and Legal teams in resolving disputes, variations, and audits.Implement and maintain ResourceCo’s contract risk management frameworks, contracting guidelines and relevant performance tracking tools.Provide leadership in contract compliance, ensuring obligations are clearly communicated and managed.Ensure compliance with statutory, environmental, and corporate governance requirements.Provide accurate reporting on tender activity, conversion rates, and commercial performance.Knowledge, Skills, and ExperienceDegree in Law, Business, Commerce, or Contract Management (or equivalent).Experience in contract management, commercial, or tendering roles within construction, waste, or resource recovery industries.Proven track record in leading tender and negotiation processes for complex infrastructure or materials contracts.Strong knowledge of commercial law, risk allocation, and contract negotiation principles.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Strong analytical and financial acumen.Strategic thinker with commercial pragmatism.Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.High attention to detail and commitment
