Job Summary:The Claims Associate is responsible for handling and resolving shipment-related claims, including lost, damaged, delayed, or incomplete parcels. The role ensures that all claims are investigated thoroughly, documented accurately, and resolved within the company’s service standards. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective coordination with various logistics teams.Key Responsibilities:Process and evaluate claims for lost, damaged, or incomplete shipments within specified timelines.Conduct investigations by coordinating with hubs, warehouses, riders, and other logistics teams.Gather and verify all necessary supporting documents, such as PODs, images, reports, and waybill details.Prepare and maintain claim reports, investigation summaries, and documentation for audit purposes.Communicate claim findings and updates to internal teams, clients, and customers when necessary.Recommend appropriate resolutions or reimbursements based on company policies and investigation results.Monitor pending and unresolved claims and ensure timely follow-ups.Identify recurring issues (e.g., packaging problems, routing errors) and escalate them to the concerned department.Assist in improving claims processes to increase accuracy, speed, and customer satisfaction.Ensure compliance with company SOPs, data privacy, and logistics standards.
