We are committed to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for all members of our community.About The RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and reliable cleaner to join our team in a permanent, full-time capacity. This is a split shift position, with working hours from 4am to 8am and 2pm to 6pm, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our students, staff, and visitors.Key Responsibilities IncludeCleaning and sanitising classrooms, offices, and common areas, including windows, desks, and floors.Maintaining and cleaning toilet facilities, sick bays, and other hygiene-sensitive areas.Disposing of rubbish and ensuring litter control across the school grounds.Performing security tasks such as locking and unlocking buildings and managing security systems.Reporting safety or maintenance concerns to the Principal or Business Manager.This role would suit a proactive and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a dynamic school environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.About YouThe following traits would be beneficial:Previous cleaning experience in a school or similar environment.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication skills for liaising with school staff and reporting concerns.A positive and proactive attitude towards work.Why Join UsAt Marsden State School, you will be part of a supportive and inclusive community that values collaboration and professional growth.
