Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, brand management, marketing, operational and macroeconomics, Visa Consulting and Analytics solves the most strategic problems for our clients.We apply deep expertise in the payments industry to provide solutions to assist clients with their key business priorities, drive growth and improve profitability. The VC&A team provides a comprehensive range of consulting services to deliver solutions that address unique challenges in areas such as improving profitability, strategic growth, customer experience, digital payments and managing risk.You will join our consulting team and play a role in delivering and implementing high impact projects and solutions with Financial Institutions/Issuing Banks in Azerbaijan. This person will develop initiatives to promote balanced and profitable growth, thereby ensuring that Visa is both, the preferred brand and unique business partner.Potential engagements could include product development, program launch, customer acquisition, customer life cycle optimization, retention improvement, benchmark analysis, profitability improvement.Responsibilities:Proactively engage with Visa internal teams in regular strategic & planning discussionsLead consulting initiatives & project teams on various project opportunities with our Bank Partners in Azerbaijan. Develop frameworks, approaches, solutions, and recommendations that effectively and efficiently address the most impactful opportunities and challengesBuild solutions and measurable insights that will help clients to grow their portfolios and customer engagement in their core businessCollaborate cross-functionally (e.g., marketing, sales, risk, innovation) and across global regional teams to execute projects in ways that use the breadth and depth of Visa’s resourcesProduce insights, analyses, and recommendations to improve client performance, boost growth, drive understanding of client issues and provide strategic mentorship for client priorities across the verticals and segmentsAbility to reliably manipulate and analyze large data sets (industry and Visa) to identify meanings insights and recommendations for clientsBuild new scalable solutions, toolkits, standard methodology documents and consulting approach that can be applied across VCA practice. This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. ​QualificationsBasic Qualifications:8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhDPreferred Qualifications:9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhDAt least 4 years of experience in strategy consulting industry (Big3 and others)Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical difficultyOutstanding communication, storytelling and facilitation skillsCollaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, able to work effectively in a matrixed organization. Experience in managing a teamPrior experience at Big3 or other strategy consulting firms. Big4 candidates with advisory experience are also welcomeStrong PowerPoint and Excel modelling skillsExperience using financial indicators to measure business performanceSelf-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrentlyKnowledge and understanding of banking operations and/ or payment schemes, including products & services, business systems and processes, marketing initiatives and card issuing experienceTechnologically savvy, curious, up to date with digital trends and applicationsInternational educationAdditional InformationVisa is an EEO Employer.
