Clinical Product Specialist (Spine)

As a leading independent distributor of medical technology, we bring innovative medical solutions to healthcare professionals by partnering with world leading companies who share our vision for innovation.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide clinical support & trouble shooting of medical equipment to doctors, nurses, and other KOLsAssist medical professionals to become familiarised with the medical equipment (merits, proper clinical procedures, and usages of the devices)Organise and conduct training sessions - perform on-site and on-the-job training on the principal’s products to health professionals in hospitalsAnswer any queries relating to the product rangeMonitor and promote utilisation of productsParticipate in training opportunities to be updated on product knowledge and market trends (workshops, training, conferences)Participate in case reviews - attend procedures in operating rooms of the hospital when neededAct as a clinical support consultant to surgeons and operating room staff during surgical procedures in the safe and proper use of Spine products and related surgical techniquesProvide coordination and logistic support in properly ordering, transporting, setting up and reassembling surgical instrument sets inside sterile processing departments at hospitals and surgery centresIdentify business opportunities and develop strategic accountsEstablish strong relationships with various KOLs to promote productsWork closely with principals to be equipped with relevant understanding of new technology and devices in the Spine departmentParticipate in promotional activity to increase product awareness in the marketDevelop and implement plans for the product line (make recommendations into current product pipeline)Pre-Requisites (Qualifications & Experience)Diploma or Degree in Nursing, Biomedical, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or Medical Technology or ScienceMinimum of 2 years of working experience, role in sales of medical device or case support especially in ortho-implant (spine) selling experienceEligible to scrub in spine cases will be an advantageAble to travel overseas if requiredAble to work overtime as and when required (includes weekends)Must be comfortable in supporting cases in Operating TheatresCandidates with nursing background will be an advantageFresh grads are welcome to applyMS Office Application (Word, Power Point, Excel)Good leadership and people skillsPartnership development and strategic stakeholder engagementGood interpersonal and communication skills, strong sales and negotiation skillsMeticulous and detailed-orientatedSelf-started and able to multitaskAptitude to develop a clinical and anatomical knowledge base and learn on the jobCritical thinkerMore about TransmedicTransmedic - Where the world's leading healthcare solutions meet the needs of our people.We open the door to a world of healthcare solutions, connecting professionals and organisations in Asia with leading medical speciality products, local knowledge and personalised service to advance the quality of care for patients who need it most.We take pride in being different.
