Our data-driven approach allows us to customize strategies for all consumers and break down communication barriers for all generations.Role Description:This is a full-time on-site role of Collections Officer, based in Kingston, Jamaica. The Collections Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks of contacting and negotiating with consumers to recover outstanding debts. The Collections Officer will work closely with the management team to collaborate on optimal collection strategies.Collections Officer Responsibilities:Contacting customers and informing them of their overdue payments.Advising customers on their payment options and suggesting methods of payments.Negotiating suitable payment plans.Maintaining customer payment records.Writing final notice warnings to customers when payments are not being made.Instituting legal action when customers fail to pay their debt.Responding to customer queries.Negotiate settlements to receive payments on certain percentages of debt.Qualifications:Debt Collection and Finance SkillsExcellent negotiating skillsStrong Analytical Skills to identify consumer behaviors and create targeted collection strategiesExcellent Customer Service and Communication SkillsBachelor's or Certificate in finance, business management or a related field3+ years of relevant experienceExpertise in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and proficiency in collection software programs
