WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FORThis role serves as a key commercial finance partner to our India shared services organization, driving financial planning, pricing, and performance insights to support strategic and operational decision-making. This role will lead rate card development, support new business proposals, manage end-to-end P&L analysis, and ensure accurate revenue and cost reporting. The role will work closely with the Head of Finance, Head of Operations, Operations Lead to optimize performance and achieve financial targets.Primary roles and responsibilities will include: 1. Commercial Support & Business PartneringPrepare, maintain and update rate cards for shared services/GCC - India deliveryProvide financial input for new business proposals and client re-tenders, including deal structuring, pricing, and cost-benefit analysis.Evaluate and recommend commercial model improvements using “what-if” scenariosProvide insights through financial analysis to enable business partners to make key decisions and achieve targets. Challenge, Collaborate and drive operations teams to deliver targets2. Financial Planning & AnalysisSupport monthly financial close activities including preparation and review of service line P&L; analyze variances against budget/forecast and present insights to Head of Finance.Assist in annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting in coordination with India business unit heads, functional leaders, and regional finance teams. Conduct financial performance reviews, track KPIs, and highlight key business drivers impacting results.Single point of contact for all service line billing inputs after validating/verifying with operations. Ensuring revenue and costs are accounted appropriately as per the project id/revenue id and cost centre idAnalyze monthly P&L for India, post reclasses, accruals, and amortizations as needed Provide detailed analysis for the exec presentation deck for SSC operationsHandle analysis from time to time on over and under recovery and advise the Head of Finance on making strategic decisions like cost optimization opportunities, arrest revenue leakage etc3. Resource & Operational AnalysisMonitor employee utilization and assess resourcing needs based on business requirements.Maintain and analyze resource utilization tracker to support workforce planning and hiring decisions.Provide insights on divisional utilization and support in assessing under-utilization. OTHER COMPETENCIES, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Experience in a shared services environment with full responsibility for preparing, maintaining, and updating rate cards based on evolving business needs.Extensive hands-on experience in conducting and managing over/under recovery analysis.Strong track record in end-to-end P&L management, including forecasting, budgeting, revenue and expense analysis, costing, and pricing.Broad financial exposure across multiple client engagements and service lines.High proficiency in commercial pricing methodologies and analytical tools.CA or MBA qualification with 8-12 years of experience, and a solid background in Commercial Finance, FP&A, and accounting.Ability to operate in high-pressure environments with fast turnaround expectations while maintaining accuracy and quality.Proficient in extracting reports from ERP (workday) & Microsoft Office applicationsStrong customer- and business-focused mindset with the ability to understand key operational and financial drivers.
