About The RoleSt John Ambulance Victoria are seeking an experienced Communications and Administration Officer who are responsible for the efficient and timely dispatch of on road resources (nonemergency patient transport and deceased persons transport) to meet the service requirements and the clinical needs of the person being transported.This team are critical in the coordination and delivery of a timely and safetransport. The role is also responsible for supporting staff, customers, and patients with day-to-day queries/troubleshooting, this may relate to policies/procedures, vehicle or equipment issues, rostering, and other administrative tasks.These roles work across a 24/7 roster and candidates will need good availability across all shift types including days, nights and weekends. The shifts are either eight or ten hours in length.This role is based at our Notting Hill headquarters.As Our Ideal Candidate, You Will PossessAdministrative experience, ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, answer phones, using multiple displays, software systems and bespoke programsAbility to work in and direct resources in a dynamic and responsive service delivery environmentUnderstand the need for confidentiality and privacy Experience planning and dispatching over a dispersed geographic locationTeam player with the ability to work autonomouslyExperienced in understanding and following policies and proceduresExcellent conflict resolution skills and the ability to deescalate situation in a complex service delivery environmentExcellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skillsExperience in a healthcare environment or sports and aquatic centres is highly regardedDon't meet every requirement?
