This regulatory reporting requires a high degree of precision and ownership of those outcomes.The other 50% of the time will be spent performing various loan and deposit Compliance monitoring, assisting with risk assessments, tracking issues, volunteering, pulling information for audits, and working with other departments to implement compliance requirements and promote a culture of compliance awareness. There is a wide variety of work in which you might find yourself involved.RequirementsYou are going to need this to be successful at this job:An associate degree or higher strongly preferred Five or more years of banking/mortgage industry experience working with HMDA data, transferable banking experience considered for the right candidate. Technical skills to operate HMDAReady software for HMDA monitoringStrong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office products, and computerized financial applicationsAbility to read, analyze and interpret government regulations, trade journals and legal documentsStrong verbal and written communication skillsMust have a highly developed work ethic including self-motivation, time management, and organizational skills Desire to work collaborativelyAbility to handle multiple tasks and prioritiesMust approach tasks with a sense of urgency and adhere to assigned deadlines Compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act, Fair Lending, and all banking regulations where applicable.CompensationGBC is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
