Green Way International is looking for Compliance OfficerJob Description / ResponsibilityRegulatory and Policy Compliance:Monitor UKVI and education policies – Stay up to date with UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) rules, CAS issuance guidelines, and institutional compliance requirements.Ensure all student applications meet UK standards before submission to partner universities. This includes academic eligibility, financial capability, English proficiency, and genuine intent to study.Advise management and staff on changes in UK or Bangladeshi regulations that may affect recruitment or visa processing.Maintain records that demonstrate adherence to both UK and Bangladeshi legal frameworks (e.g., data protection, advertising standards).Risk Management and Quality Assurance:Assess agent and sub-agent activities to ensure ethical recruitment practices and prevent fraudulent applications.Conduct regular audits of student files and documentation for completeness and authenticity.Report compliance risks or irregularities promptly and recommend corrective actions.Develop and deliver internal training for recruitment and counselling teams to uphold high compliance standards.Student Support and Guidance:Educate prospective students on the importance of compliance — honesty in applications, genuine study intent, and understanding visa conditions.Provide pre-assessment checks to verify financial documents, academic records, and English test results.Support students post-offer with CAS-related compliance checks and ensure they understand their visa responsibilities before travelling to the UK.Promote transparency and integrity at every stage of the student journey.Reporting and Continuous Improvement:Prepare compliance reports summarizing application trends, visa success rates, and any areas of concern.Use data insights to improve recruitment practices and reduce visa refusals.Recommend process improvements that make compliance simpler and more efficient for staff and students.Champion a culture of integrity across the organization — compliance not just as a rule, but as a shared responsibility.Personal Attributes:Integrity and discretion – Handle sensitive information responsibly.Detail-oriented – Notices inconsistencies and ensures accuracy.Empathetic communicator – Balances policy enforcement with understanding and support for students.Proactive learner – Keeps up with evolving immigration rules and university requirements.Team player – Works collaboratively across departments and with UK counterparts.
