As an IT Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our organisation's technology infrastructure and providing exceptional support to our staff and guests.
Respond to and resolve IT-related issues and requests in a timely and efficient mannerInstall, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripheralsProvide technical support via phone, email, and in-person to staff and guestsTroubleshoot network connectivity issues and ensure optimal performanceImplement and maintain IT security measures to protect our systems and dataConduct regular system updates and maintenance to prevent potential issuesCreate and maintain documentation for IT processes and proceduresCollaborate with external vendors and service providers when necessaryAssist in the implementation of new technologies and systemsProvide basic training to staff on IT tools and best practicesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldMinimum of 2 years' experience in IT support or a similar roleProficiency in various operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and LinuxStrong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking principlesExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically under pressureOutstanding communication skills, both written and verbalExperience with IT security practices and proceduresAbility to explain technical concepts to non-technical users in a clear mannerStrong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectivelyRelevant IT certifications (e.
